Las Vegas Review Journal: MGM offers charity to avoid directly serving Las Vegas shooting victims
EKA partner Eric Rose was quoted in a recent Las Vegas Review-Journal article on the MGM Resorts suing victims as it pursues that legal strategy regarding the worst mass shooting in American history. MGM served all the victims with legal notices and is asking lawyers for the victims to accept the legal notices on their behalf, offering to donate $500 to charity for each legal process accepted:
Eric Rose, a partner at California- based crisis management firm Englander Knabe & Allen said MGM’s charity offer is too late.
“The time to have made the million dollar charity donation offer to everyone they are suing was when they announced the litigation,” said Rose.
